Mark serves as Chief Operating Officer for Construction Concepts and leads the company’s multi-layered team in achieving operational excellence. Mark joined the team in 2011 and brings over 25 years of experience in multifamily and commercial renovation projects, as well as new construction across a multitude of industries. In his leadership role, Mark is responsible for the day-to-day operations and overall management of the teams across Texas. Mark takes exceptional pride in maintaining superior safety standards company-wide with a dedicated focus on surpassing industry standards.

Additionally, Mark applies his extensive knowledge and experience to deliver personalized and professional attention to each individual project, including physical needs assessments, cost estimating and budget development, scope development, project scheduling, procurement, contract administration, and construction management. His philosophy to lead by example includes the five critical components of safety leadership, including field presence, effective communication, feedback, accountability and bench-marking. Safety and leadership by example are critical in keeping EMR rates, OSHA recordables and a zero-incident philosophy.

Mark takes an active leadership role in the company’s charity initiative, BLDit (Building Loves and Dreams in Texas), where he is directly involved with creating opportunities to make a lasting impact on the organizations they serve. Construction Concepts was recognized with the Business Impact Award by the Houston Business Journal as well as being named as an outstanding honoree by BIG Love Cancer Care for their continued support of children fighting cancer.

Mark and his wife, Natalie, live in Houston with their two children. They are active in many philanthropic organizations and local youth activities.
